Here at the office of West Seneca dentist Dr. Carl Embury, we believe dental treatments should be affordable and anxiety-free. Your comfort and peace of mind are essential to us. Therefore, we do our best to take away stressors by offering you budget-friendly treatment options.
Alternatives to Treating the Same Dental Problem
If you’re missing teeth, a great option to replace them is dental implants. Dental implants look, feel and function like natural teeth; they are the closest to having permanent teeth again. But because dental implants require both surgery and restorative treatment, they are also the most expensive option.
There are alternate ways to replace missing teeth. For example, you could opt for a dental bridge. Also, a removable partial is a more affordable option, although it is also less comfortable to wear. A very affordable, albeit temporary, option is to use a dental flipper to replace a missing tooth.
Using dental crowns to replace missing teeth can be very expensive, especially without dental insurance. Dr. Embury will not recommend any unnecessary treatments. He won’t tell you that you need a crown unless you honestly need one. And he will also let you know what other options may be available to you.
All options have pros and cons, but Dr. Embury will explain these and help you make a well-informed decision. No matter what decision you make, Dr. Embury will give you a healthy smile.
Treatment Phasing Options
Completing dental treatments in phases is a great way to keep your care affordable. In some cases, procedures don’t have to be done all at once. For example, if you need four crowns, it may be possible for you to do two a year instead of having all four done at once. Dr. Embury will help you determine which dental issues to address first and then help you come up with a plan to take care of the other problems later.
