When I was brushing my teeth this morning, my crown came off and went down the sink. I was able to retrieve it but I can’t reach my dentist. I know it is the weekend, but I’m not sure what to do.

Lisa,
I’m sorry this happened to you. I would get seen as quickly as possible. You’ll want to find out what is the cause of your crown coming out is. They don’t fall out for no reason. There is the possibility that your dentist simply didn’t bind it on properly. Though, it is a pretty basic process.
It probable that you’re fine waiting until Monday. if, however, your dentist tries to put you off, then you’ve got a problem. Contact an emergency dentist in order to get seen that day. Your teeth will begin to shift, sometimes within a few days. Then, your crown will no longer fit and you’ll have to have an entire new crown made.
