Dr. Carl Embury, DDS

Dr. Carl Embury is an experienced dentist and partner at Embury Family & Cosmetic Dentistry, with more than a decade of experience caring for patients and their families. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the SUNY at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 2013 and completed his General Practice Residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY, in 2014, where he received advanced training in comprehensive dentistry, oral surgery, and the management of medically and dentally complex patients.

Dr. Carl has a particular passion for patient comfort, sedation dentistry, oral surgery, and full-mouth rehabilitation. He especially enjoys helping patients who have experienced dental anxiety or difficult dental experiences regain confidence in their dental care. His approach combines advanced clinical skills with patience, compassion, and a genuine desire to understand each patient’s individual needs and goals.

Known for his calm and compassionate manner, Dr. Carl believes that exceptional dentistry is about more than treating teeth; it is about building trust and creating an experience where patients feel heard, comfortable, and cared for. He takes pride in developing long-term relationships with his patients and providing comprehensive care for the entire family.

Outside of the office, Dr. Carl enjoys golf, fitness, a good movie/documentary, reading, and cheering on the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres. Most importantly, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Dr. Caitlin Embury, their two daughters, and their two dogs.
