Need a Dentist Willing to Work With My Allergies

I have a lot of allergies and sensitivities, including to some common dental ingredients. My dentist isn’t very compassionate.  Is it possible to find a dentist who is willing to work with my sensitivities? I’ve had a Cliffords test to determine the bigger issues.

Brooklyn,

That’s a tough situation you’re in. There are some controversies surrounding Cliffords test, so some dentists are more willing to work with them than others. Generally, what you find are holistic dentists that are more open to working with people in your situation, who also will use the Clifford results.

What you don’t want is to get in a situation where you avoid the dentist, because as bad as your sensitivities are, if you neglect your dental care, you’ll be in a worse situation. There is a way for your dentist to get materials that won’t affect your allergies.
